This creative Brand was formed in 1970 and covered my early work in photography . 

The subjects for my photography in the early days featured my Portraits and Weddings over a five year period , my Photography Course at the local college , working as a Press Photographer in Motor Racing , Local Entertainment Theatre Publicity Photography for Shows that appeared at the Theatres in Blackpool , together with further Publicity work for Odeon Cinemas , EMI and Trust House Forte Hotels and Lesiure Companies .

I also shot Model Portfolios and Publicity images for up and coming singers , dancers and show business people .

I moved into the Toy Industry in the late Nineteen Eighties and created Richard Dixon's Toy Photo Design Studio based in Blackpool Lancashire and the surrounding district in a number of buildings .

Today my work still covers the Toy Industry , Cosplay and Fashion Photography , together with TV and Film Miniature Model Production Design .

In 2020 I started the creation of " Film Miniature Spacecraft Models " for a new science fiction movie being created in England by Producer Simon Cox .

Eight film models were designed and built at my studio centre in the north of England for the movie which is currently being made in Warwickshire .

In 2022 I have also started the design and creation of three supermation storybooks due for release in 2023 - 2024 .

These are all based on my original sci-fi story for children called " SEASTAR 5 INVADERS FROM THE ABYSS ".

I was asked by TITAN BOOK Publishing in London to produce a photography service for the new "Bratz Magazine" they were designing in the early 2000's .

During the six months working on the Magazine I created six themed photo shoots for the miniature girl dolls to inhabit .

Realistic miniature settings were designed and built by myself....included the "Halloween Edition" with a Haunted House , Japanese Garden set in miniature , Christmas Snow Village landscape , an African wildlife Safari set , a beach scene in Hawaii and a Pirate Harbour set for Bratz Treasures . 

The Bratz Sports Range was also photographed at the time with a real life Sports Arena Location shoot but these images unfortunately were never published . 

However , for the first time ever the pictures from that Sports shoot now be seen here as I have recently found the images in my archives .

This was the final photo shoot I completed for the Bratz Range before they were withdrawn from sale....It was also the end of the Bratz Magazine as well....

This photography on the Sports items was not published as the magazine edition was still at the design stage when legal action halted publication .

This was not the end of my story with the Bratz.......while I was shooting the Bratz Sports images in my studio one....something else for the magazine was in my studio two being prepared for publication .

A full photo story supermation production of the Bratz was being created .

This featured the Bratz Treasures range in a search for buried pirates treasure....

Unfortunately the story never made its publcation date ......it had the same fate as the magazine in the legal problems with the Brand .

In the early Nineteen Nineties I was hired by Hasbro UK to take a series of promotional images for their boys toy range " GI JOE ACTION FORCE  " .

The images were created on a number of realistic jungle miniature sets built in my studio in the north of England .

The images appeared in Comics over a three month period in advertisements for the product . They were also used as promotional photography in the trade publications .

The model sets were about five feet square and included conifer tree branches and ferns from a local garden centre .
