The story continues......Matthew Adams has been taken to the MIDAS building on Oahu Hawaii to be put through an interrogation about the events in the last twenty four hours he has spent on the island of Kauai .
The story opens in the office of Ben Franklin , Director of MIDAS Operations .

The MIDAS building , Marine International Defence and Aquanaut Security Agency , near Pearl Harbour , Oahu , Hawaii .
FRAME 4 / 4
On the tenth floor of the agency building is the office of Ben Franklin , Director of Operations .
FRAME 4 / 5
At his office control desk from early morning he receives a video call from the command control room in the basement of the building . Lt. Stella Shore has been monitoring the events on Kauai Island .
Lt . Stella Shore / " Good morning Director , we have just received the final reports from the Sea Falcon Team on Kauai Island " .
" It gives us little information apart from the satellite data , the evidence for a close encounter with a Sea Angel on the island does not really exist" .
" The explosion area in the forest left a crater at the bottom of a ravine and some metal parts , fragments mainly , nothing of any real value ".
" The only things we really have are the sonar scans and air to ground pictures from the drones we sent over the island and a lot of those pictures are obscured by foliage and cloud cover . We do have pictures of Matthew Adams on the beach with two figures who we believe are undersea angels " .
Ben Franklin / " What about Adam's boat examination . Any further evidence there " .
Lt. Stella Shore / " The boat was certainly damaged in the night time collision we observed off Oahu " .
" It has been repaired but the welding on the side panels is nothing like what we would expect . The metal has been sealed together by some kind of chemical fusion process but our people can't say how its been done" .
FRAME 4 / 6
Ben Franklin / " Very well Stella send the report through channels . Any sign of the Admiral " .
Lt . Stella Shore / " His unit has just arrived Sir , I'll send him straight up to you " .
" Don't forget your luncheon appointment Sir with the Senator ".
Ben Franklin / " No I will not , arrange for my car at 11.30 will you " .
FRAME 4 / 7
The doors of the lift open and Admiral J P Henry enters Ben Franklin's Office .
Ben Franklin / " Good morning J P , have you been following the night's events on the island " .
FRAME 4 / 8
Admiral J P Henry / " Yes Ben , up to date on it all , looks like you netted someone who has met a Sea Angel " .
Ben Franklin / " He's the son of Jason Adams , you should remember him from that incident with the Senator a few years back " .
" We are holding him in secure unit two , Karena brought him in yesterday afternoon " .
" Not saying much at the moment he says its all in our imagination " .
FRAME 4 / 9
Admiral J P Henry / " I thought I recognised the name " .
" I had his father with me in Florida for some years , a good guy , one I could trust " .
The Admiral picks up the file from the desk .
Ben Franklin / " His personal file makes interesting reading . He has an excellent combat background " .
" A good security clearance but he kind of dropped off the radar for a while " .
" He has been away from the service for some time " .
FRAME 4 / 10
The Admiral looks through the photo scans of the nights events and then turns towards Ben Franklin .
Admiral Henry / " Nothing really here Ben we can use , the boys going to take a lot to make him talk " .
" I really don't have the time for this , the new subs sea trial was successful and I need a Captain " .
" The clock is ticking on this project and this guy might just fit the Captains chair " .
FRAME 4 / 11
Ben Franklin / " I know on paper J P , he looks good , but we need someone who will take orders , this project does need a team player " .
" What you don't want is another underwater cowboy gun slinger in your team , you have plenty of them at Star Key Base " .
FRAME 4 / 12
Admiral J P Henry / " I hear what you say Ben , I'll keep it in mind " .
" But its my team on this and I need the best of the best " .
" We are up against a force like nothing we have ever faced before " .
" So I get to choose who I think can get the job done " .
" Matthew Adams may be one of those guys I need , leave it to me " .
FRAME 4 / 13
The Admiral turns toward the door and the lift unit .
Admiral J P Henry / " What ever it takes Ben " .
" The job you set me will get done one way or another.....we will win in the end I promise you that " .
" I'll be in Secure Unit Two with Mr Adams " .
Ben Franklin / " I knew you would say that ! " .
FRAME 4 / 14
The Admiral arrives at Secure Unit 2 and places his Security Pass in the door scan . The door locks release and it slowly opens into a small room .
FRAME 4 / 15
Admiral J P Henry faces Matthew Adams .
Admiral J P Henry / " I'm Admiral Henry , Mr Adams " .
Matthew Adams / " I know who you are Sir , my father was in your Command in Florida " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Good that gets us over introductions " .
" It looks like we have a lot to talk about " .
" You have had an interesting few days " .
Matthew Adams / " That depends on which side of the table one is sitting Admiral " .
FRAME 4 / 16
Admiral J P Henry / " You know how this goes , its not good saying nothing . We have a pretty good idea of what has been going on with you on the island " .
" Two satellites , two drones had the whole thing covered from the time of your boats collision to the time the blue sub craft submerged . You had a encounter of the third kind Mr Adams with what we call sea angels " .
" So the question you have to ask yourself Matthew is ....do you talk or do you not...not really difficult is it " .
FRAME 4 / 17
Matthew Adams / " You saw the whole thing , I did'nt think that we had drone cover over that area . So I guess you saw what happened over there on the ocean and the island " .
FRAME 4 / 18
Admiral J P Henry / " We have cover every where in the islands round here , including the ocean and underwater channels leading to Pearl Harbour . Nothing gets missed by MIDAS and the Navy " .
FRAME 4 / 19
Admiral J P Henry / " The only thing I really need from you Mr Adams is an acceptance you had a Close Encounter of the Third Kind , a meeting with Aliens " .
" Then we have to decide what we do with you one way or another " .
Matthew Adams / " So you want the truth from me Admiral , do you know what the truth is with our history because I thought I did until meeting them on the island " .
" Now I don't really know whats our real history any more , maybe you can give me some answers " .
FRAME 4 / 20
Admiral J P Henry / " The truth , do you really want to know " .
" Can you really handle the truth to all this what you have experienced ".
" I don't think you can....nobody really knows it all....if you did it might change your life for ever if I tell you " .
Matthew Adams / " I can handle it Sir . Believe me I did not meet Aliens on the island ".
" They were human just like us , but they live and breath underwater . There is a whole civilisation under the ocean and they have been down there a long time " .
FRAME 4 / 21
Admiral J P Henry / " Calm yourself lad , I thought as much ".
"You really did learn something out there did'nt you" .
" Here take a look at these pictures from a drone we had in the area , three figures on the beach and a good shot of you with the Blue Sub craft ....we captured some good views of everything " .
" You see underwater races and cities in our oceans do exist , Matthew " .
" We have known about them for some time ".
" We watch them and they watch us....a game with many players....not many answers ".
" The public knows nothing , its beyond Top Secret ......its on a need to know basis and at the present stage of things you don't get the answers " .
" But if you want more information , you will need to join my unit , the truth Matthew really is down there in the oceans if you are prepared to search for it " .
Matthew Adams / " What kind of unit are you running Admiral , I thought you were US Navy " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Not the US Navy , I sort of transferred out some years ago , more like an International Security Force , Marine Aquanaut Rangers Command is the name of the unit , its secret in every way " .
" We have our main base out at an island in the Kwajalein Atoll group in the Marshall Islands " .
" Its your lucky day I'm recruiting Aquanauts at the moment , what do say Matthew about joining my guys . Would you like to be part of the best equipped team in the business and see whats really down there in the Oceans for yourself " .
" I'm offering you a job my boy , to be truthful more of an adventure voyage under the sea " .
FRAME 4 / 22
The two men continue talking and the Admiral stands makes the final part of his offer to Matthew Adams .
Admiral J P Henry / " I'm leaving for the base in half an hour , join me Matthew . The truth is down there so lets find it together " .
" I need a new sub commander , you have experience of mini subs and action . You could be perfect for the job as long as you realise my unit and its operations are run covertly in how we carry things out " .
Matthew Adams / " I would like to give your unit a try Sir , if you want me " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Splendid , come lets make our way to the helipad " .
" Just one more thing....I'm the Boss of this outfit.....I give the orders ! ".
FRAME 4 / 23
The two of them shake hands and head for the helipad .
Matthew Adams / " No problem Admiral , I'm your man " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Wecome aboard Matthew Adams , destiny calls " .
FRAME 4 / 24
At the entrance to the MIDAS building helipad over looking the ocean .
Matthew Adams / " Tell me Admiral did you think I would accept your invitation " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Yes , I thought you would , you have a sense of adventure in you Matthew ".
" You also wish to see the girl again.....I'm giving you the opportunity......lets go to the Island and show you the equipment we have to get you down there into the Abyss " .
FRAME 4 / 25

MIDAS Tower / " Clearance is go Viking 4 " .
Lt. Mike Johnson - Pilot Viking 4 / " Roger Tower " .
The Pilot turns to his Co-Pilot alongside him .
Lt . Mike Johnson - Pilot Viking 4 / " Okay Joe start engine one "
Lt Joe Myers - Co-Pilot Viking 4 / " Engine one is go skipper "
Lt. Mike Johnson - Pilot Viking 4 / " Start engine two " .
FRAME 4 / 28

FRAME 4 / 32
Lt. Mike Johnson Pilot Viking 4 / " Level out and bring in the turbo props for horizonal flight " .
Lt. Joe Myers Co-pilot Viking 4 / " Horizonatal flight is go , levelling off at 20000 , making course correction to south south west " ..
Lt. Mike Johnson Pilot Viking 4 / " Midas Tower this is Viking 4 we are leveling off at 20000 will contact K Island Tracking in two hours over . "
MIDAS Tower Hawaii / " Roger Viking 4 , Midas Tower over and standing down , have a good flight " .
FRAME 4 / 33
The MIDAS Air Helijet / Viking 4 passes through the clouds on its journey south west towards the Marshall Islands with Admiral J P Henry and Matthew Adams on board relaxing in the cabin .
AFRAME 4 / 34
Matthew Adams / " How long have you been based down here Admiral at Kwajalein Atoll " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Some time Matthew . Certainly its years , one's track of time gets lost a little down here on the islands , life is slower a lot different then Hawaii or the main land " .
FRAME 4 / 35
Admiral J P Henry / " What was she like Matthew . The girl you met on the island " .
FRAME 4 / 36
Matthew Adams / " She was like us , not a mermaid Sir , and she spoke fluent English " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Did she tell you how she learned our language " .
Matthew Adams / " No , not really , but their technology what I saw is different from ours . Its sort of advanced but they use something which I can only explain as magic to do certain things . I did'nt ask her much about it , she seemed more interested in learning about us " .
Admiral J P Henry / " I see , no matter we will talk more later at the base , have a rest , enjoy the flight " .
FRAME 4 / 37
Some time later the Helijet Viking 4 nears the Kwajalein Island Atoll in the Marshall Islands Group .
Lt. Mike Johnson Pilot Viking 4 / " MIDAS Air Viking 4 calling K Island Control at 20000 approaching you from the east , over " .
K Island Controller / " Roger Viking 4 you are on our scopes clear to descend , Omelek Island Heliport are ready for your landing , over " .
Lt. Mike Johnson Pilot Viking 4 / " Thank you K Island Control , Viking 4 descending now , over " .
FRAME 4 / 38
The Viking 4 arrives over Omelek Island as Matthew Adams and the Admiral look down from a side window in the helijet as it prepares to land .
Admiral J P Henry / " Matthew we have arrived at Omelek Island , we are coming in to land " .
FRAME 4 / 39 .

FRAME 4 / 44
Karla St.James / " Welcome back Admiral , how was Hawaii " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Very good Karla , I've brought Matthew Adams back with me . He will be joining us in the unit at the base " .
Karla St. James / " Pleased to meet you Mr Adams " .
"Will you board the transport I'm your driver to the Marine Lab " .
FRAME 4 / 45
The three of them get into the humvee tranport for the short journey across the island .
FRAME 4 / 46
Admiral J P Henry / " A short ride Matthew to the Lavelle Marine Lab Complex " .
" It only takes a few minutes and we will be inside the centre " .
FRAME 4 / 47
The transport turns into the grounds of the Marine Lab and drives into the large hanger at the side of the main building " .
FRAME 4 / 48
The entrance door to the hanger closes . The Admiral's transport comes to a stop by a lift unit .
FRAME 4 / 49
Karla St. James calls the lift from a wall control panel .
Matthew Adams / " Were going in a lift Admiral , but there's nothing on top of this hanger except a helipad its a single storey building " .
Admiral J P Henry / " We are not going up but down Matthew . Star Key base is below ground , in fact a long way down " .
" The Lavelle Marine Lab is our surface cover , a frontage for the world to see . An International Marine Lab is a real great cover story for our unit's operations " .
FRAME 4 / 50
Karla St. James / " The lift is here Sir , do you wish to take Mr Adams to the observation deck hanger one " .
Admiral J P Henry / " Yes , set the destination . Come Matthew lets show you the base " .
The Admiral and Matthew Adams enter the lift which begins its descent to the heart of Star Key Base .
FRAME 4 / 51
Matthew Adams / " This is fantastic Admiral how have you managed to build this place without anybody realising what you were doing " .
Admiral J P Henry / " The base itself was built underground , the elevator shaft for this lift and the freight elevator were the only thing we took to the surface . Everything else was built from underneath with robot machines , all the hangers and tunnels . We used some pretty good tunnelling equipment called Subterrains , state of the art digging machines , you will come across them in the base as we are still constructing new sections of the complex " .
FRAME 4 / 52
The lift comes out of the elevator shaft into a large underground hanger .
Matthew Adams looks across and in front of him is the SEASTAR 5 .
Matthew Adams " Wow ! you certainly said you had some good equipment Admiral "
" Is that a submarine over there , I have never seen one that big anywhere " .
FRAME 4 / 53
Admiral J P Henry / " The SEASTAR 5 Matthew , a submarine Carrier Battle Cruiser . She's probably the most advanced undersea vehicle we have ever built , all six hundred feet of her . It forms part of our underwater battle fleet of SEASTAR DSV's based around the world " .
FRAME 4 / 54
Matthew Adams turns to the Admiral as the lift comes to a stop at the observation platform .
Matthew Adams / " She is a carrier , you mean carries aircraft Admiral " .
Admiral Henry " Not aircraft Matthew , something very different , Flying Sub's " .
FRAME 4 / 55
The two men walk out on to the observation deck which is hanger one . The hanger for the SEASTAR 5 .
Admiral J P Henry / " The Flying Sub DSR , Deep Sea Recon units , they give the Seastar's the ability to fight above the surface as air cover and below as undersea fighters . A marvel of engineering , something we are proud of having created " .
FRAME 4 / 56
Matthew Adams / " I could not have imagined this , its truly fantastic , like your own world down here " .
Admiral J P Henry / " The situation Matthew is the Earth has 140 million square miles of ocean .
" Our normal Navy subs are limited in use in how far down they can go . No staying power in the deeps ".
" The SEASTAR 's have been designed with the power muscle and range to stay down in the oceans for as long as we want " .
" We now have the ability to see whats down there and protect ourselves " .
FRAME 4 / 57
Admiral J P Henry / " Not many people Matthew know what we have been doing down here or anything about Star Key Base and my unit ".
"Officially nothing of all this exists . Its been kept secret in every way and that includes all our operations ".
"Under my command that is how it will stay , beyond Top Secret " .
FRAME 4 / 58
Matthew Adams / " This beyond Top Secret Admiral , who has over sight on command on all this " .
Admiral J P Henry / " I am in command of operations for M.A.R.C. the Marine Aquanaut Rangers Command with Ben Franklin at MIDAS Hawaii as Director of the Unit's Government connection side of things " .
" The SEASTAR 5 needs a new Captain , Matthew , are you ready for a challenge to take command of the most advanced submarine we have .. What do you say " .
Matthew Adams looks at the Admiral " Yes , I'm up for it Admiral " .
Before he can say more they are joined on the observation platform by members of the Admiral's Unit .
FRAME 4 / 59
Admiral J P Henry / " Matthew , I would like you to meet Pierre Lavelle my Marine Scientist who created Star Key Base and Paula Duvall our Training Officer of M.A.R.C. " .
FRAME 4 / 60
Matthew Adams / " I'm pleased to meet you Sir " .
Pierre Lavelle / " Welome to Star Key Base Mr Adams , been reading a lot about you over the last few hours " .
Matthew Adams / " Good things I hope " .
Pierre Lavelle smiles in reply . " Paula he's all yours . The training schedule will start tomorrow Mr Adams . We will see what you are like in a few months and if you can make the grade " .
Paula Duvall / " This way Mr Adams , our lift is waiting " .
Matthew Adams and Paula Duvall head down the corridor to the lift unit .
FRAME 4 / 61
The Admiral and Pierre Lavelle watch them go toward the lift unit .
Piere Lavelle / " Well J P , how good is he really . But more inportant will he take your orders as I looked at his service record and he seems a wild card , at least on paper " .
Admiral J P Henry / " I think he will do just fine , he's been in Marine Force Recon and Delta , his Commanders gave me assurances I will be able to trust him " .
" I think we may have found our Captain for the SEASTAR 5 " .
FRAME 4 / 62
Pierre Lavelle / " That might be so , but how much have you told him about what goes on down here and our connections with this whole show " .
Admiral J P Henry / " At present he knows very little about the Unit and the secret stuff down here .
But he did meet some of them from down there on the island and he survived .
I think the girl he met gave him a bit of information on the history side of things .
The big picture he will learn soon enough .
It may be a risk bringing him in but I have confidence in talking with him and his attitude .
Time will tell my friend " .
Pierre Lavelle / " We will see J P , prepare for the worst and hope for the best I guess .
Any way lets go to the Command Centre I have some reports from the Engineering Centre I need to talk over with you " .
The two men turn and leave the platform .
FRAME 4 / 63
While Matthew Adams starts his training at STAR KEY BASE
The SEASTAR 5 awaits him taking command on her Goliath launch Transporter and stands ready for action .
The super submarine will soon lead our defence in the underwater world of the 21st Century .
To protect our world from the Invaders from the Abyss .
